Some of the major sights of the city not to be missed are of course the Eiffel Tower - best appreciated if you climb her steps - stopping for cappuccino and then completing the 2nd stage to be rewarded with panoramic views across the city. Be sure to walk down Place de la Concorde, along Chants-Elysee and arrive at the Arc de Triomphe - commissioned by Napolean to applaud the French Army. Pay homage to Sacre Coeur at the top of Montmartre and enjoy the views.
Le Louvre is the most famous and most visited gallery in Paris, possibly in the world - home to the enigmatic Mona Lisa and with its mysterious glass pyramid entrance it holds some of the worlds most priceless art treasures. Made even more famous by the "Da Vinci Code". Spend time around the Pompidou Centre - the French equivalent of Covent Garden - filled with arts, crafts, book stores, gifts shops and cool cafes where you can stop a while and enjoy a beer, soft drink or pick me up coffee.
Evenings spent in intimate restaurants with your favourite person, sharing a bottle of fine wine make the perfect end to a day of adventure and exploration.
