Pompidou Centre is rather like London's Covent Garden filled with street entertainment, trendy cafes, art and craft shops and has a buzzy feel. Pay homage to Sacre Coeur at the top of Montmartre and take the time to visit one of the 60 odd markets that operate in the city - colourful, vibrant, entertaining and filled with characters.
