Champs Elysees makes for an extremely pleasant stroll and as you follow the street along you eventually come to Place Charles de Gaulle and here lies the monument - Arc de Triomphe - dating back to 1806 when it was commissioned to be built by Napoleon to glorify the French Army - standing some 50 metres high and 45 metres wide - it is hard not to miss.

If you are visiting on business then you have close and easy access to the business quarter of Klever Avenue, are just a few minutes away from La Defense and the Porte Maillot.

There's a large amount of museums and monuments in our romantic city but the most popular must include a trip up the Eiffel Tower - standing 300 metres and weighing 7000 tons rewards you with panoramic views over the whole city.

For a romantic afternoon take a river boat trip along the Seine and see many of the sites from a relaxed vantage point - if you feel like it alight at Notre Dame to take a close look at this Gothic masterpiece.
