Ideally situated just a few minutes from the world famous Moulin Rouge, not far from the Garnier Opera House, and the elegant department stores of Printemps and Galeries Lafayette, our delightful hotel was formerly a mansion house, and is reached by a charming cobbled footpath.
The peaceful atmosphere of our private cobble stoned pathway has retained all the charm, character and emotion that was here long ago, and it has seen much of the history of this ancient city. The name to our splendid establishment came about because on the cobbled stone of this pathway, scarcely a century ago, Vincent Van Gogh came to find his brother Theo.
We have 23 well proportioned and wonderfully comfortable rooms, all individually decorated and with their own distinctive charm and character, some of them boasting a four poster bed, and all having en-suite bathroom, with bath or shower and fitted with Carrare marble; double glazing, to keep out the noise of the city and ensure a good nights sleep; satellite television and direct dial telephone with plug for a modem, everything even the most discerning traveller could desire.
All of the delights of the city from the vibrant nightlife, to the world famous monuments and attractions are all within easy travelling distance and many, such as Montmartre and the world famous Moulin Rouge, are just a short walk way.
When you return after a long day exploring the city you can sit and relax in the lounge area, with sumptuously comfortable soft leather chairs, or enjoy a long glass of wine, champagne or whatever drink you fancy from the bar, which never closes and is exclusively for the use of our guests.
Our friendly and courteous staff will be happy to recommend one of the many superb restaurants, just a few minutes from our door, and will make your reservation for you. They will also book theatre tickets, taxis, car hire etc.
