For sight seeing the main sights on your list should include the Eiffel Tower - climbing her steps gives you a true feel of her magnificence and the views are spectacular. Notre Dame is a Gothic masterpiece and best approached by river boat from the Seine. Arc de Triomphe pays tribute to the French Army and is reached by following a line from Place de la Concorde to the top of Champs-Elysees and then on to Place Charles de Gaulle and there you will see the Arc. Pay homage to Sacre Coeur on Montmartre and spend time around Pompidou Centre - the Parisian equivalent of Covent Garden - arty, crafty and plenty of trendy cafes where you can sit and take the weight off your feet.
Le Louvre is the most famous museums with world famous art pieces including Mona Lisa. The glass pyramid entrance is breathtaking.
Shopping is a must - Chanel, Christian Lacroix, Christian Dior, Jean Paul Gaultier all to be found in the fashionable Galeries Lafayette - exhibitions, book signings and fashion shows can be happening any time here.
Evening spent in one of the many restaurants indulging in the food and wine is the best way to end the day with your favourite company.

Good stuff: The friendly and helpful staff. Very well situated to access other forms of transportation, shops and resturants.
Bad stuff: No tea making facilities, could improve on level of hygiene, i.e. Stains on bedding, towels and hair left in the from the previous occupants.
Overall: The hotel is a basic standard hotel in terms of its decor and furnishing. It is fairly clean, although improvements can be made in ensuring that there are no hairs left in the bathroom from the previous occupants. Particular attention should be paid to items such as towels and bedding to ensure they are no stains as this is very off putting. The bathroom mirror too many scrathes it would have been nicer have a full lenght dress mirror. It would be welcoming for guest to have some information in their rooms about the facilites available in the hotel in regards to breakfast times, lunch or dinner if provided. Or what's avaliable in the local area - eating out, transportation, entertainment (general tourist information). Tea making facilities would be very nice to have in the room. On the whole I found the staff very pleasant and helpful. Although the hotel was basic it reflected in the price. Regardless of my comments I enjoyed my stay there and would return again.

Good stuff: Close to the train station
Bad stuff: Overhead lights over bed too bright. so bright that it was impossible to read without waking up the person in the next bed Carpet looked very unclean and I think in my view badly needs replacing. presents a very poor view of the hotel. That is the only reason I would not stay there again.
Overall: I would like to compliment your staff in the dining room. The lady that was serving breakfast with the black short hair was wonderful! She looked after us very well and nothing was a problem. When we asked for more tea, coffee, hot chocolate, bread, she served us with such enthusiasm and a warm smile. She even persuaded my son to make a request in french and he did so with confidence because of her wonderful warm manner.We so enjoyed our breakfast, not just the food but also the great atmosphere that was in the dining room. It was simply the best!
