Originally built in 1907 as an apartment complex, its facade of Paris stone is decorated with typical art nouveau style and ornamentation. In 1930 it was transformed into a hotel and since then we have gained an enviable reputation for service and luxury. In 1996 the whole building was completely renovated, improved and refurbished by one of France's foremost designers, Frederic Mechiche. His idea was to reinstate the original grandeur and splendour of a the 1930s, this he has accomplished magnificently.
Each of our 134 well proportioned and supremely elegant rooms is individually decorate and furnished with the classically vibrant colours and styles of the period. Rich mahogany furniture with the finest in soft fabrics add to the warmth of the decoration to produce a wonderfully peaceful and tranquil ambiance that is both soothing and invigorating, perfect for a romantic break or holiday spent exploring the city.
To perfectly compliment the luxury and authentic atmosphere, each of our rooms is fully equipped with the very latest in modern facilities: en-suite bathroom; satellite TV; high speed internet access; direct dial telephone; in room safe and mini bar.
In our stylish oval restaurant our dedicated and imaginative chef prepares the very finest in traditional French cuisine for you to enjoy and our experienced wine waiter will be happy to recommend the perfect bottle of wine to complete your meal. If you prefer you can try the bar menu, the setting is a little less formal but the food is still excellent. The comfort and relaxed atmosphere of the bar bar is also the perfect place to relax at the end of the day and plan your excursions for tomorrow.

Good stuff: All the staff were very friendly and accomodating.Wonderful bed,so comfortable!

Bad stuff: Bar closed too early at midnight just as we arrived back from a concert.Scrambled egg at breakfast was dire.

Bad stuff: the restaurant...the evening we had Dinner,we were the only ones in the restaurant and it was suggested that we should have the special...which I suspect had been prepared and since noone showed up that night,it was the opportnity to get rid of it...it was the worst food we had.
