Pompidou Centre is much like Covent Garden - filled with street entertainment and trendy cafe bars where you can enjoy a relaxing cappuccino and watch the world go by.

Being so close to the Bois de Boulogne with its 865 hectares of woodland means you can enjoy walking, cycling and even horse riding or simply stroll in the gorgeous gardens of Bagatelle.

Good stuff: Clean,friendly and cheap Hotel, Excellent location to access the Paris Metro.

Good stuff: Convenient location to the train station - within walking distance. Not in the center of tourism but close enough.

Bad stuff: There wasn't anything I disliked.

Overall: Front desk staff was wonderful, very helpful, very friendly. I had the most wonderful experience. Small hotel but what do you expect in Paris? The room was small but clean, the bathroom too was clean. Morning continental breakfast was very good. Conveneint location to train station, money exchange right across the street. Good cafes on the street. Can't say anything bad about this place. I will most certainly return to this hotel and recommend the hotel to my friends. However staying in the middle of the hot summer could be a challenge, no ceiling fan, what I think was the air conditioner didn't quite produce cool air (we were there in June.) Opening the window is an option, but it could be noisy if you are not used to the noise.
