The Latin Quarter that surrounds the Sorbonne has long been the residence of students who came here to learn, and for hundreds of years the only language spoken at the university was Latin, hence the name the 'Latin Quarter'. Although many languages are now spoken, the narrow streets and alleyways, traditional houses and the street cafes where intellectuals sat debating art and the important problems of their times are still there for you to enjoy.
A traditional Parisian establishment, our splendid building has been part of of the cities history for generations. In 2002 we restored and refurbished our establishment to create a wonderfully warm and welcoming place to stay. With only thirty nine wonderfully well proportioned and elegantly decorated rooms that are a delicate balance between old world charm and the latest in modern technology.
