Good stuff: inexpensive--allowed five in one room--unusual for Paris.
Bad stuff: It took a long time for the bath water to get hot (20 minutes) but it did get hot.
Overall: This old, but refurbished hotel was fine, a good value, but is situated one block from a large number of gaudy sex shops--not a pleasant venue for a stroll with our family of teenagers. Had I known, I would have booked elsewhere. The Paris Metro was nearby, but we needed a car. Parking, as elsewhere in Paris, was very difficult. Three blocks away was a self-service parking garage for about a ?uro and a half an hour. Plenty of good restaurants were within walking distance. Friendly concierge. Petit Dejeuner was included in the price, and was self-serve for about 20 guests--the typical French breakfast of fresh bread (not toast) and butter and jam, with o.j. and coffee.
