We are close to the metro and good bus services putting you in touch with the whole city. Close by you will find the beautiful Opera House - be sure to treat yourselves to a night at the Opera - its an amazing and heart filling experience - let the music and sound pierce through your heart and soul.

Now for some shopping - take the time to visit Galeries Lafayette - it is a complete shopping experience - beautiful boutiques, the latest fashion designs and perfumes and a wide choice in accessories, jewellery and gifts. Bookstores, arts and crafts and the chance of seeing a fashion show, book signing or the latest in modern art by way of an exhibition. This is a lovely place to take a rest and have lunch with friends.

Wherever you walk in Paris there is something delightful and beautiful to experience - the Gothic masterpiece - Notre Dame - ancient architecture, a tragic love story and some amazing art work inside. Tour Eiffel - has be climbed at least once in your lifetime.

For some fun and a cosmopolitan feel be sure to visit the Pompidou Centre where you can revel in the street talent, sit and drink coffee in one of the many trendy cafe bars or browse the arty crafy shops and stalls.

There are over 60 open air markets in the city so be sure to experience the characters, bric-a-brac and speciality foods on offer there - a wonderful experience all round.

Good stuff: Quiet yet central location close to metro, buses and within 20 minutes walk of the Sacre Coeur. Secure parking at only 15 euros a day or public underground parking opposite the hotel. Internet access.

Bad stuff: Shower is hand held coming from taps. Only one english speaking TV channel (CNN). Hallway and signs to breakfast room, which is in the basement, could be improved.

Overall: I have stayed in this hotel many times over the years and would recommend it to anyone as a reasonably priced hotel in a quiet yet fairly central location. Some of the rooms (5th floor mostly) have small balconies you can stand on. Lift to all floors.
