Montmartre is home to the beautiful Sacre Coeur - inside you will marvel at the mosaic depicting Christ with outstretched arms and the views from the hill are super. For something a little different be sure to take a river boat ride - you get to see the city's skyline and alight at Notre Dame where you can get a closer look at this Gothic masterpiece - it really is amazing and awesome.
Paris is the home of shopping - there are some 60 odd open air markets where you can revel, barter, haggle and generally soak up the colourful atmosphere. For something a bit more exclusive visit Grands Boulevard for mainstream shops and Galeries Lafayette for those designer labels, and speciality boutiques and jewellers. Its a great place to have that leisurely lunch with friends too.
Evening entertainment includes the Moulin Rouge, Opera House and theatres and of course a wealth of intimate and inviting restaurants serving the finest of French cuisine - delicious!
