This is a very convenient, good value for money, budget hotel for travelling and touring. It is perfect for train journeys and accessing the airports, due to being opposite the Gare du Nord station. A few steps way are Thalys Terminals and Eurostar.

Metro service from Gare du Nord provides superb possibilities to enjoy everything, that Paris has to offer to tourist.

Picardy hotel offers comfortable surroundings to a busy traveller. Our 46 bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms are fully equipped with Satellite TV and telephone. Our accommodation has 2 star rating and is reasonably priced with friendly and efficient service.

You are welcome to enjoy a full French breakfast in our nicely set out dining room, where you will be pleasantly served by our helpful staff.

If you wish to stay locally to your hotel, you may enjoy a walk along the tree lined Canal St Martin. There you will find interesting boutiques, cafe and restaurants. Some of the bars have colourful live entertainment and comedy. Beautiful iron foot bridges cross the canal.

Our hotel is incredible convenient and still inexpensive way to take the advantage of all, that you have come to expect from your trip to Fancie.

Overall: The staff were friendly and helpful and the hotel was easy to find from the Gare de Nord station. The rooms were small but adequate, the shower very effective. The downside was the beds, very small and very uncomfortable, combined with traffic noise a night's sleep was virtually impossible.

Bad stuff: More pillows. Better decor .... mould on ceiling and wardrobe a bit off putting!

Overall: A cheap budget basic hotel ideal for the purpose of sightseeing when all you need is somewhere to sleep. (a couple of nights only) Ideally situated near to Gare de Nord station and metro. Bathroom VERY small, but shower was good. Bedroom size compact and you must know and like your companion - as you are on top of each other! ... but adds to spice if on a romantic break!
